I’m grieving the fact that my sister and I will never be as close as we were.

I have acknowledged that she doesn’t support me and isn’t there for me like a sister should. I don’t know if she’s a narcissist or what but it hurts a lot knowing my sister isn’t my best friend.

I had to come to terms with that kind of change in the relationship with my youngest sister. In this case part of it was due to mental illness. When she takes her meds (and they’re working) she’s closer to the person I remember. But I too feel the sense of loss.

Can you talk with her about it ? 🥺

My sister used to be my best friend, then she met her partner and that was that. She lives 20 mins away but won't do anything with me unless he's busy.

Well .. my sister just lives a mile away .. if you want to be friends with your sister than you shouldn't be so hateful to her imo
