I was up talking to my daughters til 4am

I worry about the same situation, when son leaves home.

My adult kids have been doing their own thing for ages. My 7 y/o only lives with me part-time (she's with her mum the rest of the time).

I bought a house the first time with my first ex in 1998, seperated in 2011. I next bought a house by myself at the end of 2023 (at age 55).

It's great that a person could considering buying in their 20's. For a majority of people that's an impossible dream.

Good for him. Many can only dream about buying a house at 30, let alone 20. 😅

Moving out at, say, 23 is ideal the world changes for the kids for the best. I know more than 4 dopes home with parents three are about 34 and one of my cousin is FIFTY!!! Big age, real big dope. At home it's suffocating, no privacy, lost opportunities, burden and u don't learn ANYTHING about life apart from how to be a dope

thats cool that he can buy a house at 20.....most houses where i live start at 1,000,000

I hope to have a wife and kids some day. I need that family unit and love. My life feels empty right now.
