If it hurt you, then you probably wasn’t really asking jokingly. Knowing her answer would hurt. I don’t get it, it’s only an outfit. They’re probably wearing matching outfits because they’re both women and didn’t think you would like to wear it.

@Gingerbreadspice Hello, first Merry Christmas, like I said it happened before and I've been vocal about wanting to be included, and if my mom thinks I wouldn't want it she wouldn't have reason to why she didn't get me one. And btw this isn't the only reason I'm upset ofc there's things that happened before that aren't said, this is just me sharing why I'm upset now during Christmas eve. Thanks

I'm sure you've figured out that this isn't really about the outfits. It's about you being jealous of how close your sister and your Mom appear to be, and about how much YOU want to be included. It's about you wanting to be loved equally.

Explain your feelings to your Mom in THAT way, and perhaps, in future, she will include ALL of her children in her special little circle.
