Ancestry or 23 and me

Have you done your DNA history with either company?

I did Ancestry back in 2015, doing 23 and me right now. I can’t wait to see the results.

I'd only consider doing these sort of tests if (a) and de-identified data was only ever stored in Australia and (b) I can request that after testing is done and results are provided *all* data about me including the testing outcomes is deleted so to the 'system' it looks like I don't exist.

I don't want my personal (de-identified or not) DNA data being stolen in a data breach and used for malicious purposes by either a government or shady business like insurance or medical industries.
