My parents are the reason I have a partial college degree and are the reason why I live in a condo. My parents paid for it so I could have independence and a leg up in life.

Indebted? No. But the more I live in modern society the more I appreciate how they were/the generation they were from and how they raised us kids and the environment we grew up in.
