Were your parents affectionate with each other around you and your siblings?

I don't remember my parents holding hands or kissing, not even on the cheek, not even as little as pet names. They never went out unless it was shopping, funerals or family gatherings.

Definitely. It weirds me out when parents aren't affectionate toward their partner in front of their kids. How else are your kids going to get an idea of what a healthy, loving relationship looks like?

My bf never touches me when his kid is with us and it bugs me.

@DearAmbellina2113 That's my whole thinking about it as well. Basically everything I do with my romantic interests are things that I learned from Hollywood, and I had to learn as a kid that that's not always a good thing. 😂

@bijouxbroussard he and her mother were never a couple. They hooked up one time, she lied and said she was on birth control, then called him 3 weeks later and told him he's gonna be a dad.
