What's a drama from your family

Many years ago I had an aunt who left my uncle when she was in her 40s for a woman.

Everyone got over it,but at that time it was not common

My child molester uncles and my mommom keeping it all secret. And the one normal uncle getting killed. My mom dying and my cousin "buying" her land that was to be left to her grandson. My mom's husband who stole a lot.

And now it's me because I don't show up to anything. I only see my mommom because she's 98.
Actually the same as you! My mom was considered super progressive at the time because she invited the pair to Thanksgiving dinner.

Lol, I bet that raised a few eyebrows!

My dad got addicted to many things and drifted apart from the family. I did not realise how far apart until I was left to arrange his funeral by myself.

My Sister is an alcoholic, my Mom is a recovering alcoholic but now has early on set dementia. My childhood wasn’t a great one.

@GeniUs scary
@GeniUs It took them two years to investigate and interview you?
GeniUs · 56-60, M
@NativePortlander1970 It took them that time to get around to it.
I found out when my parents spoke to my ex wife and she told them I was in trouble for what I'd done, my parents told me and I rang up SS and asked 'what was going on?'
Oh yes we need to talk to you. I suspect my call 'hastened' the case. I honestly wouldn't trust that lot to wipe their own backsides. However I think they knew there was nothing in it but I'd love to know how much time they wasted on a case which consisted of interviewing me once and each of my kids once. There was a lot of shite flying around for a period of time. I have a report somewhere which probably has a 'doctored' (to make them look good) timeline in it. I refused to read it as I knew it would make me angry, my partner has read it though and she gave me edited highlights.
