Do not try and say it is big brother getting involved because it is wrong BUT, in Australia we do not have voter ID you just arrive to vote and give the person all of your details to get marked off You, need ID to get a driver licence, open a bank...

Absolutely. People are happy to show their ID for beer, cigarettes, and a welfare check. It should be required to vote, NO exceptions.
