I just don't get it

Why does a death in the family all was brings out the worst in the family. When my uncle died a few year's ago the whole family was fighting over his stuff and money. My grandfather passed away a week ago and we are trying to plan his funeral and everyone is fighting like a pack of lions fighting over a zebra. Gee my mom hates my aunt. Then my mom and her sister and brother are arguing all most every day

When my grandmother passed away it totally tore the whole family apart with the fighting over her things, the worst part was she never had much, lived in her old house that didn’t even have running water. Unless you call running to the well to fetch a bucket of water as running water.
I am glad I’m not going to have that problem .

@Repete my grandfather place was the same. It had no in door plumbing. They had to bring in water. My mom actually remembers when my grandfather built the bathroom

@smileylovesgaming my grandfather passed away when I was very young, barely remember him. Remembering is a way to keep the good times you had alive and try to let the hard times slip away .

@Repete when my mom was young she was coming home from school and she seen the fire department at the house. My grandmother had burnt the living room down. So my grandfather had to turn the barn into the house. My mom been going through old photos and she found one of the old house before it burnt. Another was the barn before it was turned into the house

@smileylovesgaming no matter what happens they seemed to get through it by working together, sadly I think we lose sight of the hard times they went through back then.
