@thewindupbirdchronicles oh you mean paying attention to not apply it to the broken skin? You’re just arguing for the sake of arguing, you’re incorrect and need to review wound care techniques before giving advice.
@Flenflyys The skin around broken skin is not broken. Those topical treatments can work there. And ps, rubbing alcohol is more effective than hydrogen peroxide in some situations. I wasn't giving advice, but thank you. (It's called isolating the wound)

@Flenflyys thanks for telling both of us.

Take her to the pediatrician if it doesn’t get better

Another old school thing u can do is to put cigarette ash over it.

And eventually the navel will fall off.
Apparently it's works and was done alot

@SilentKiller been using it 3 days and already looking better why they didnt give me before i dont know
@MiraRoss nothing new about medical services. Always delayed but the important thing is that it's working

@SilentKiller yes so true. So glad it is

It sounds familiar. I think it's just a side effect of the umbilical cord not being cleanly removed during birth. I didn't have but knew a couple people with "outies" who's parents had to deal with it when they were babies.
My nephew had it. It went away gradually.

I would ask your dr. I was born with a tumor so things do happen. You don't want a hernia.

Well what has your baby's Droctor said ?

Just because your mom hasn't heard of it doesn't mean anything at all. I am positive your mother isn't an expert or the all knowing.

Do as the doctor suggests.
The internet isn't really the best place for medical advice, it's best to see your pediatrician as soon as you can.

@MiraRoss Hopefully soon
