Is this safe?
My mom was heating a biscuit and didn't know she left metal tongs in the microwave. The biscuit was heated for 20 seconds. We took the tongs out. Is this safe for my mom?

No it's not really safe appliance wise. Health wise you will be okay. There was a saying "Micro heat causes cancer" but EVERYTHING causes cancer these days.

@Sazzio by design mostly to depopulate the world. Our drinking water is a major source of that.
