How often do you think about your deceased loved ones (Family members AND Friends)?

nameless1 · 36-40
I think about my parents and siblings every single day. I often wonder how it would be if my brothers were still alive. They would be adults now instead of me being alone forever.

@nameless1 Shit! I can not think of anything appropriate to address the absolute hell you have been through since that horrible accident. All I can say is I that I hate it for you, and that I am glad to have known you Lissa,
This year has had first anniversaries without my mother; her birthday, Easter, wedding anniversary with Pop, and the holidays are coming. I think of her often, especially when something happens that I wish I could share with her.
I also lost two longterm friends from this site recently, people with whom I’d been speaking for over ten years (originally on EP, the previous site). It’s still sinking in that they’re gone, too. 😞

Not often but I do dream about them occasionally
JohnnyNoir · 56-60, M
@Lilymoon pretty sure that will remain a mystery for a long time.
RedBaron · M
@Lilymoon My wife hails from the Caribbean. Her culture places great emphasis on spirits.

When each of my parents died and I told her that I had dreams about them shortly thereafter, she said that meant that their spirits were nearby and essentially were visiting me.

That makes a lot of sense to me.

@RedBaron yeah I like to think that for sure...it's funny too most of the dreams are when they've recently died....and then get lesser as time goes on
JohnnyNoir · 56-60, M
A lot. I also dream about them often
Vin53 · M
@JohnnyNoir Be thankful that you do. 😔. I would sleep 22 hours a day if they were spent dreaming of my daughter.
Recently, a lot. My uncle passed away last month and also my dad’s death anniversary. Dad’s bday was 10th of this month.

Whenever something shows up that brings back memories of them...which happens often...
nedkelly · 61-69, M
Every single day, since the 31.7.2003 when my oldest son was selected to be in heaven
Tastyfrzz · 61-69, M

Kristen died on Halloween night 2010. So, yeah, this time of year brings back memories.
BEENOV · 51-55, M
@Tastyfrzz sorry for your loss
DiStefano · 46-50, M
@Tastyfrzz I am sorry for your loss. May she rest in peace
PoeticPlay · 51-55, M
Every day.

They never leave my heart or my thoughts.

@PoeticPlay A kitty only acts that way if he feels threatened.

Quite often, and especially the ones who've died most recently.

At times ..
I have dreams about them too
There's a few friends that were taken so quick, and unexpectedly; their smile has barely begun to fade from memory. They haunt us the most.
YoungPoet345 · 26-30, F
Every so often. I recently thought of my grandfather and was surprised how it brought tears to my eyes still. It’s been one year since he passed.
My mom passed away fairly recently so I think about her a lot. I had a friend that passed away in 2012 I still think about from time to time.
DiegoWolfe · 36-40

DCarey · 46-50, M
I think about my mom and dad every day.
perceptivei · 36-40, F
Pretty often
Vin53 · M
Its like asking if you would or would not want to be haunted by people you loved and lost. Of course you would.
DiStefano · 46-50, M
And do you also thinking about them during a specific song?
BEENOV · 51-55, M
Every day, but always in a good way
Lost77 · 31-35, M
You are not alone beautiful
NinaTina · 26-30, F
Every now and then
It depends on whether they were a part of the Roman Empire
