For those who have never had children why or why not?

I made that decision long ago to be childless because I didn't think I could raise a child. I think I'm better as an uncle than I would be a father. Children deserve stability and a chance at a great life. I'm not stable and I could never give them what they deserve. That's why I decided against having children of my own.

I have had a scar across abdomen from a major surgery since I was 6 year old that still hurts. No way I would want to make it even worse with pregnancy. Not to mention other health issues like Hashimoto's, generally messed up hormonal system and very unstable mood. I still could have children but if I had an easy access to some method that would permanently defunct my reproductive system I wouldn't hesitate a second and go for it.
