I associate different songs with each of them but not one song for both of them. They connect with the memory of affection in her voice saying “that’s your dad’s favorite” while handing me an album with a bunch of smiling faces by Dr. Hook and that Christmas he got her the fancy console stereo for her to play all her records on.

When my parents were dating, this was "their song." It's what they danced to at their wedding in 1949.
