I didn’t speak to my brother for 5 years. One day I decided to move on with it. I didn’t forgive I didn’t forget but family is more important than any one betrayal or mistake.
I don't speak to any of my family since my mom died in 2012. No wife no kids. But the family I grew up with and cousins and whoever else I say good riddance..
There’s one with whom I’m no longer close, sad to say. But as our parents’ door is open to both of us (and she lives with them) we’ll be in each other’s lives for the immediate future. After our parents are gone, hard to say, but our other siblings may disown her.
