Did you ever have to disown family members or had them disown you?

I didn’t speak to my brother for 5 years. One day I decided to move on with it. I didn’t forgive I didn’t forget but family is more important than any one betrayal or mistake.

Yes, just because they were blood didn't make up for their negativity.

I don't speak to any of my family since my mom died in 2012. No wife no kids. But the family I grew up with and cousins and whoever else I say good riddance..

I disowned them all!!! Each and every one of those maniacs except for an uncle who is on thin ice!!!

There’s one with whom I’m no longer close, sad to say. But as our parents’ door is open to both of us (and she lives with them) we’ll be in each other’s lives for the immediate future. After our parents are gone, hard to say, but our other siblings may disown her.
