I have often heard that daughter in law should be like this and like that

It is not true that we, women are to tolerate anything. We have proper values to follow if you disobey you know the consequences. Monthly pain is according to our biological design.. Our existence is unique that even law somehow favored us though there are some flaws in it but our being went through a better a craftsmanship of better social values, we are gatherers, we are nurturing individuals, home makers.. and to admit that among sexes it is us who are the most trusted stranger a kid can meet.

I doubt if you have been questioning your sexuality even before marriage…or was it the stress you had after. At such age you must abandon your comfort zone, you are no longer the pampered daughter of your parents… you are still a daughter but a wife to a man, a daughter to his parents, a niece to his aunts…which is to continue the generations of nurturing and to raise better men… If your aren’t leaving your parent’s home at your age.. that doesn’t seem to be appropriate.

Your mother will never be a mother to you if she kept on staying in her parent’s home. You existed by her and your dad. You were raised by them. Soon to be you will raised your own.

Yeah jokes aside, women from Eastern societies feel it even stronger and I know we have extra mountains to climb that exhaust us in the long run... But that makes us truly strong inside. It's wonderful to be female if you leave all the crap misconceptions aside...
But you need to see your yin side. It's not as obvious, as the yang is loud. You need to silence in order to perceive it.
Patience is required from every person on this earth. Those who think only some need to be patient and tolerate them are unwell and unbalanced....
