Would you think it was cute, funny or offensive?

My dad calls my baby milk breath and the baby seems to like it now and smiles and laughs when he talks to him, but I feel when he gets older he will not like it.

Maybe not, but I imagine when he’s older, your father will no longer use it. It wouldn’t be relevant as a nickname for an older child. The baby smiles because what he’s hearing is the love behind it, not the words. 😊
