Yes make money off the kids and not use it for them. That’s a sign of a broken system.

@SlightlyBelowAverageJoe Exploiting children is very low on the intelligence list of ways to make money

@cherokeepatti Maybe that's why it's so easy?

In order to foster a child, you must be vetted. Your home and property will be inspected, you usually need a partner living with you, and the PCS checks with neighbors and other references to make sure you have a relatively decent reputation.
When you foster a child, you are subject to monthly inspections, and some of them are surprise inspections. The child must have his or her own room, there must be healthy and nutritious food in the fridge and cabinets, and the place must be very clean.
You must make sure the child attends school, and their teacher will inform on you to PCS if they do not turn in their homework or if they begin to fall behind in class.
You will NOT be able to get rid of a foster child at the drop of a hat. PCS has to find other accommodations for them first.

@4meAndyou That's ok, I just need them for a couple months and I'll be good.

@SlightlyBelowAverageJoe If you are located in Alabama, you would only get $31,896 per year...paid monthly.

@4meAndyou That'll work.

Not enough to even properly provide for the child, never mind make a profit.
SlightlyBelowAverageJoe · 36-40, M
@WhateverWorks That's discouraging.

Just make some cardboard cut outs of about ten kids and then register them as your foster children, just dont forget dont let them play outside the rain will ruin them.
SlightlyBelowAverageJoe · 36-40, M
@Justenjoyit That is a brilliant idea! Plus, I don't necessarily have to feed the cut out kids.

@SlightlyBelowAverageJoe And they sleep well to no waking up in the middle of the night crying.
