Sadly she has passed. Mom was so sweet and kind to me ( I am adopted). She and daddy were the first people I ever loved, and at 11, after I realized that I was afraid to let them out of my sight.

She's a sweetheart and kinda treats everyone I know as her own kid. Sadly she called a friend to check up on me and they blocked her.

@ImpeccablyImperfect They were guilty of something they did to me. My mom didn't even call to yell at them. She literally called them her kid and asked if she could talk. Upon hearing the introduction of who my mom was. She hung up and blocked her.

@Nebula You will, until you are fit to burst. It’s just how my folks roll. Hospitality to visitors, even strangers is something important to them.

A guy came to deliver a parcel, he was still there an hour later eating breakfast with them.

My mother’s been ill for the last couple of years now, which is a pity. She still has her sense of humor and warmth, but she’s not the person she was, and I miss that.
I’m grateful to still have her, though 🥺
