Unanswerable questions?

8yo has been out of school for like half an hour. So far she wants to know:

WHERE is space? What happens if the earth is a teeny dot of dust in someone’s living room from another universe?

If we are just floating around space on a rock, why do we care about homework? Can’t we just live in a forest and do what we want?

How is there a water shortage when the earth is mostly covered by water?

How come no one figured out how to talk to animals yet? Can’t they make an animal google translate?

Why are all the presidents “silly old men”?

All valid questions. I’m unqualified to give sufficient answers. I kind of wish she would have just asked her teacher earlier in the day 😆

WHERE is space?

A common definition of space is known as the Kármán Line, an imaginary boundary 100 kilometers (62 miles) above mean sea level.

What happens if the earth is a teeny dot of dust in someone’s living room from another universe?
Cool! Then our universe is bigger than we thought. 😊

If we are just floating around space on a rock, why do we care about homework? Can’t we just live in a forest and do what we want?
Good question!

How is there a water shortage when the earth is mostly covered by water?
Climate change. 😞

How come no one figured out how to talk to animals yet? Can’t they make an animal google translate?
I don't know, but I want to invent that!

Why are all the presidents “silly old men”?

@AbbySvenz tried to give her a cupcake... nope, she’s too excited for curry tonight so she won’t eat anything before 🤪

That shows she's smart! Very curious!
by the end of the day, many days, my head was spinning from those types of questions.
Raffiki · 22-25, F
@Jenny1234 lol yeah I was trying to think of new ways to say “I don’t know” after every question. Too smart for me 🤩

Perhaps she did and the teacher told her to save those questions for home 😊

I got your problem solved.
I planed on answering sex questions with this statement if my kids got too curious.
" Ask your Father/Mother".
Raffiki · 22-25, F
@Dainbramadge a perfect answer but she hasn’t got either of those to ask. It’s just me & her, so I’m stuck with alllll the questions lol

@Raffiki Better get a lot of books and start reading then. LOL

Those are some great questions tho.
