@Haniazed the crazy thing is that i warned her before we evennnn had our first meeting, and told her that if she was not willing to call out abuse AS SUCH, i would not be using her as a counselor..sigh. she even called me "mean" at one point today..and said my mom was "apologetic" in our meeting, and that i showed a "lack of forgiveness." i said ma'am..she said she DIDNT KILL MY CAT and that i had BRANDISHED A BUTCHER KNIFE AT HER AND SAID I WANTED TO KILL HER!! she demured, "aw that was yet another misunderstanding. im sure you didnt LUNGE."

@Haniazed i would love that..but now im stuck..if i have a grievance, they will think i am playing victim and choosing a counselor solely bc they side with me

im tired. so very very tired. i wish i just hadnt been born..this life has not been a pleasant one.

@foldedunfolding umm…you’re not playing victim. You are a victim and you can change your counselor/therapist as many times as you need until you find the one that can truly help you.

“They will think…” Who are “they” and who cares what “they” think? Do what is right for you.

@Haniazed They is my family..and if this was solely for me..i would do just that. but they have roped me into FAMILY counseling, and are using my nieces and nephews as pawns until i "get better"

@foldedunfolding Then falsify a resolve for the sake of your nieces and nephews and move on from this counseling chapter so you can establish a new one with a new therapist for yourself

@Haniazed yeah that was my plan i guess..they just wont let up until i actually hang around my abusive mother..i am so not doing well :(
