Dream last night
My mom was her normal self again. The self she hasn't been in years, pre the descent into alcoholism. We went shopping together at target. It was nice. I was having a fun time. She was judging me for wanting to buy chocolate, like she always was judgemental over my diet.
We exited target and were walking to the car. It was then I remembered her fall in the dream. I was trying to ignore it because I didn't want the dream to change. (I have been having dreams where my mom is normal until I remember her bad fall she had, and then she changes.) But it didn't work. Suddenly she became unsteady on her feet. She almost fell over-but I caught her. She was crying and afraid that she had almost fallen so I told her "Don't worry mom, I won't let you fall."
I woke up and felt indescribably sad. (My mom had a recent bad fall that left her badly brain damaged.)
