Another strange (for me) dream last night
A dream that was a little disconcerting
Last night I dreamt I was taking steps to converting from Atheism to Judaism.
Why I would want to do that is totally beyond me.
Do not remember all the details but I was allocated a mentor.
He handed me a slew of cards, similar in size to book mark cards.
There might have been 100?
The first 20 were steps needed to became of the Jewish faith.
Each had Jewish Script as a heading.
Below this was the English translation.
I remember the first one stated - "Renounce your current religious beliefs"
I am certain that is not the number one requirement. 🙂
More likely a belief in God would be the number one requirement.
Then learn about Judaism.
Learn some Hebrew?
Follow the commandments of the Torah.
I remember being in a Synagogue with many Orthodox Jews all wanting to be a part of my conversion to, and acceptance of Judaism.
Towards the end of the dream I was ceremonially handed a Kippah as a reminder that "Someone" is always watching
