Anybody here good at interpreting dreams?

I have recurring dreams about having rooms in my house that I either never knew existed or forgot about. 🤔

I've had those myself.

In a literal sense, your house in your dreams is a construct of your mind. In a figurative sense, it is your mind. If you're discovering "rooms" in your "house" that you didn't know about or that you had forgotten, that means there are aspects of yourself you are discovering.

Are the rooms all cobwebby and in various states of decay? That would indicate that you feel you've been neglectful of yourself.
@LordShadowfire No, they're never in decay. In the most recent one I had, there were bedrooms with furniture and belongings of the previous owners and a whole other bathroom.

@MsSwan interesting. So I would call this a positive. Something about yourself that you've forgotten, but not necessarily neglected. More like a discovery.

@MsSwan By the way, I had a similar dream several years ago, but the room I found was terribly neglected, and there was an aquarium in the room with fish that I hadn't fed in years who were somehow still alive. They were huge, but they were pale and somehow managed to look neglected in a way I can't describe, and the aquarium was all slimy and gross. That's why I asked.
@LordShadowfire It's funny you mention a neglected aquarium because I just remembered having recurring dreams about that too! I have one fish tank, irl but I've had several dreams where I become aware of one or more tanks that I've neglected and the fish are still alive but the tank is dirty.

@MsSwan Yeah, I think that means that we both have aspects of our lives that we've neglected and failed to nourish.
@LordShadowfire Do you know which aspects of yours? I can't think of anything.

@MsSwan I feel like I'm languishing. I have, with the awareness that I'm tooting my own horn, an incredible singing voice, and I'm just wasting it.
@LordShadowfire Audition for American Idol, lol.
