Changed my first wheel bearing today. Thankfully something went wrong every step for optimal pedagogical extraction

@LunarOrbit Is it one of those cases where they are in the worst possible spot on the engine and you have exactly two inches of room to work? Two inches AFTER you remove the steering rack and exhaust system?

@SunSetStrut Theres two of them. Sit right on top in the middle of intake manifold. Which is under every freekin line, wire, hose, etc etc etc. I was going to tackle it but I know Im going to forget to do something that was supposed to go back in an orderly fashion. Maybe next year

@LunarOrbit Removing the intake is always so much fun! Especially when there is stuff attached to it from underneath! Hoping nothing else breaks, trying to clean up things as we go so dirt doesn't fall into the ports, a mysterious hidden bolt that won't let the intake come off, Things not wanting to line up during reassembly...

I have worked on cars before, I am pretty good (not an expert) but I do know that I cannot stand doing it.

Here's a funny one for you - if you ever watch car repair videos, sometimes they say, "This next step might be a little difficult." That means your entire weekend is shot. EVEN THOUGH it took the tech only 30 extra seconds.
