When was the last time you owned a diary? Do you think you still need one today?

I was in 3rd grade, I got inspired by my cousin who's keeping one but then our older cousin (her roommate) manage to sneak out its locket and reads it to me whenever she's out. She was writing all about boys and her hopeless obsessive crush on some in which she never told us nor anyone maybe. It was truly embarrassing, reading her diary its like a different person than she is..Every time we read her diary....I feel so ashame of her and thinking of having one might cause me an embarrassment if one can manage to sneak out and yes when I got back home and got myself one. My brother found it and laugh out to my face about all I wrote. Since then I never wrote a diary again..but I do have a planner since its useful to wrote ideas to ajourn on a day..but at this phase of my life seems to be very much a routine and I just need one so I could bookmarked what happened to that particular day when the time comes I will need such..

My grandfather kept a daily log. Most days it was just the weather and wind direction, but on many, he wrote a short blurb about something that happened that day. I have those "logs." Nearly 50 years worth...they are fun to page through and reminisce. Especially the ones he wrote something on while I was alive, because sometimes you remember what he wrote about.
