Would you confront someone who was smoking in a clearly posted "No Smoking" area, in which you were seated?

Are we speaking of a no smoking area outdoors?

I mean...anywhere indoors is already non smoking....If they are smoking indoors then yes...someone ought to tell them that they cannot.

Unless they are in front of a building door then no..they have a right to smoke outside.
There are certain cities that have actually banned smoking anywhere Downtown, regardless of where you are located outside.

@CereBellum: yea and that...they can send me to jail then...if i am walking outside it is public access and i am free to smoke a cig..it is not illegal and they cannot actually have laws like that enforced. Just putting that out there. They could actually have that backfire on them.

No smoking in a building. Okie dokie.

When I am outside it is my business. And you can walk somewhere else.
@JaggedLittlePill: What about if you were in your apartment, and the following year it was changed to non-smoking?

@CereBellum: last June, smoking has been banned in all housing developments in Massachusetts. Can't even smoke in the home you pay obscene amounts of rent for. 1984 is here
@Fernie: But. . . many still do, I assume. Guess it's along the same lines as hotels. If caught at Marriott"s you are fined quite a bit.
Guy was caught on his balcony at around 3:00 am. Paid the fine at check-out and said, "Oh well".
