Guys - when was the last time you cold-approached a woman in any sort of public situation outside of a work-related interaction?

A few weeks ago. There was some lady at one of the bar seats of a cafe. I asked her if I could sit beside her and she said yes. And we casually chatted. It didn't go anywhere but it was a nice conversation at least.
