"Obtrusive" or "intrusive"? 🤔
FreddieUK · 70-79, M
@ArtieKat 'Intrusive' has a narrower meaning than 'obtrusive' which covers a range of unwanted behaviours, not just those that intrude.
Mellomarsha · 61-69, F
@ArtieKat Examples:

Intrusive: F to M: “How much do you make? Any big debts to pay off?”

Obtrusive: M to F: “Now, my dear, let me tell you a thing or two about childbirth.”

I'm the crazy PTSD woman begging for someone give me a reason to vent my rage at them...inquisitive jerks leave me alone.

When! Well, every Damned Time that's when. I am open about my life, but when a person thinks my life and how I live it is some way shape or form for their entertainment, well I refuse to talk and I walk away with my head held high every damned time.

I don't know, but it takes very little to get me to stop engaging with that.
On here I can just log out or hide posts, mute, etc. etc..

I just change the subject or walk away that's my best choice. No matter who they are that's my decision. Mine is good for reoccurring at funerals.

Yesterday. Can't stand when someone asks something and you answer it the same as everyone else and they take it as an invitation to creepily pry. 😒 Fuck outta here.
