What do YOU THINK? Does age bring wisdom?
As time goes by, the older I get, the wiser I have become.
I seen a couple of teenagers in love, at the mall. He was looking deeply into her eyes, he gets on one knee, he proposes, she cries, they kiss, she says yes and its a free for all clapping session. Two years later, same couple, shes pregnant, hes on his phone, they already pushing a toddler around..they are distancing each other. A new guy comes up, he walks off on a phone call, she talks to new guy, he gives her a hug, kiss on the cheek and he leaves in a uniform...I see how time is hard on people. I have felt sadness, grief..but never TRUE LOVE. As I remembered this couple, flash forward 10 yrs, they divorced, the kids both graduated, hes retired and they splitting grand kids..how come love left?
Why is a life worth living always interrupted by a persuit of happiness?
The media bum rushes us with fake news, lies, rumors..and the famous robotic answers are a normal conversation..what will 20 yrs from now look like? Who knows?! But, as I get older, im wiser and im sure what i leave behind me, wont have anyone to help become better.
Its a matter of opinion..but i believe we live, we learn, we repeat history... what do YOU think?
