As time goes by, the older I get, the wiser I have become. I seen a couple of teenagers in love, at the mall. He was looking deeply into her eyes, he gets on one knee, he proposes, she cries, they kiss, she says yes and its a free for all clapping...

Personally as someone who had made many mistakes . I believed we become experience as we age due to many mistakes. Since wisdom is application of knowledge. The experiences that we gain as we age is a body of wisdom on its own especially if it lead us to avoid past mistakes.
