The last time I felt brave enough to speak my mind was in one day in High School.
Boeing · 36-40
@Sidewinder what were you talking about back then?
Sidewinder · 36-40, M
@Boeing I was expressing my dissatisfaction with one of the classes I was taking and wanted to be in a different class from the one I was in.

When I talk to someone, I'm honest and speak my mind. Life's too short not to.

@Boeing Thanks for best comment.

@LadyBronte beautiful comment, bringing clarity ❤
@LadyBronte Same. 🙏 🙌
For some this may sound strange.......or a lie.........but there is never a bad time to tell someone exactly what you think about something. As long as speaking your mind don't include something demeaning or rude.........say what you mean. If the one listening don't like it...that is their problem. At least you didn't lie and you stuck to your principles by saying what you think and feel.

@Ferise1 tell the guy!
@Boeing Told ya.................speak your mind.
It's not always easy to face people who act ugly towards you, or deliberately try to make you angry, but the main thing is to show respect to those people and not escalate the situation but speak your truth in love and they will see that. Always be honest! It just makes no sense to be dishonest. As if people can't see through that. A person should always be genuine and honest, up front. That's when they will respect you.

@LadyGrace thank you for this precious message. 🌹
Interesting post..

I didn't realize some even felt like this. It's never been a problem for me or anyone I know.
@Boeing It takes all types. It's what makes the world as great as it is!

@Magicianzini indeed! variety is life.
I'd add that, there are also depths/levels/layers of speaking one's mind, in my reality at least..:D
@Boeing True, going too deep too fast becomes useless chaos.

Well, this man has started bringing his dog to church and a lady called me over last week to meet the effin dog, really?? So I go over there & she's all like aaawwww loooook, I said I don't like dogs. The man said "You don't like dogs??" I said "NOT a fan" and went back to my seat. I don't like dogs to start with but to bring one to church is just ridiculous.
@Tumbleweed Indeed
Boeing · 36-40
@Tumbleweed don't give em a hard time, dogs aren't my species either, I'm more of a cat person. But I would find it fascinating to see a religious dog 😁

@Boeing I wasn't straight out rude but I did make it known I don't like dogs, that way they won't have it in my face every week!

When i testified in court about the Pennsylvania priest child sex abuse case. It felt like i was reliving the abuse over again and ended up being a total waste of time

@Boeing Thanks, you're right it was good to finally speak up but the result was not really worth the trauma it caused ,300 yes 300 priests named with over 1 thousand victims 2 got charged and both served less than 2 years jail time
1000 victims in just one state they made a movie about it but all it did was praise the newspaper that helped expose it.
