People are generally taken aback by it and are unaccustomed and unable to respond. They will often acquiesce to my demands.
Today I was shopping. At my grocery store you pay for parking and you also get points and your parking refunded when you buy something. The two offers combined often mean getting things free or even money back! I asked the clerk and she said I’d have to go to customer service so I said:
Don’t be lazy!
She immediately did what I asked.
