Would you report a crime if you see it?

I just saw a robbery!! It was crazy as hell!!! I was walking and minding my own busines, and saw these two chavs stealing a huge smart TV from an open delivery van and run away with it!!! I was shocked to see that in broad daylight but I did nothing, I felt bad for the delivery guy he was very big and seemed naive didn't even know his van was open, my husband said you have no obligation to do anything about it.

Yes. You should to help the Delivery Guy, as he may have protection under Insurance. If not body reports he may be suspected for stealing.

But your husband is also right. Because these things are being setup these days .. as an arrangement between Van Drivers & Thieves. He would have left it open on purpose and report theft later to claim insurance.

All depends on the country where you are .. As your complaint can also reach the Mafia to suppress you. Best is to write an anonymous letter date time and post it to the nearest police station and that you don't wish to get involved.
