The day we no longer point out outrage to what is happening to our America...........we become one less voice to listen too. And when that happens we are not changing anything............they are changing us.
FoxyQueen · 51-55, F
@MaBalzEsHari Yes, but we as individuals, outside of voting, can't make significant changes at the top. What we can do is help our communities rely less on government for their needs, rendering them less powerful on the local level.
MaBalzEsHari · 36-40, M
@FoxyQueen How's that working out on the local level?

There is NO change........until change from top down is made. Locals do not control laws......rules....goon squads on our streets....cutting off our insurance...raising of all prices.....

Your solution is idealist...........not realistic.

@MaBalzEsHari You'd be surprised. When communities band together, they create a strength.

My community building in my local area is going well! Thanks for asking! 😊

Yeah, that’s the kind of boring echo chamber talk that I don’t like. Recently I was debating with other leftists about “abundance”. That was more interesting and we were talking about urbanism and unions and other things that actually have to do with how society runs. We all know we don’t like Trump. We don’t need to keep saying it over and over lol

@FoxyQueen Yeah that’s kind of typical Democrat/lib talk, and I often find them just as annoying as the right lol. I mean a lot of them were condemning pro-Palestine students along with the right. They’re the kind of people who don’t understand why Kamala lost and think Trump is an anomaly. They were calling Zohran Mamdani a “jihadist” right alongside the neo-Nazis. I have limited patience for them 🤦🏼‍♂

I mean, he purposely hurt a lot of people so it completely makes sense to why people are reacting this way about him getting getting assassinated. doesn’t make it OK but I completely understand, even though I don’t agree with it.

@TurtlePink They aren't even talking about Kirk. They are all just rage posting about trump. Like, why?
Yes, but, this is what happens when you let people have unfettered ability to publish any thought. They become indignant, no matter the stripe of their politics. Social media if you are looking for news or objective opinion is like dumpster diving for food.

@awildsheepschase Oh absolutely. I just always wonder what the point of these comments are. And why are there literally thousands of them on one post? Just like the insipid fury of the person who said something similar or close to what you were going to post and move on.

It doesn't help that the pages that allow this do so just to get interactions so they can earn more money off the comments and reactions. So they have zero interest to change anything. It really makes the pages even worse for deliberately posting rage bait for money.
