Recently I had a social media debate on a different platform than here. Said person ,
( lets name him apples) tells me, (code name Oranges)
That the dollars we spend on items we buy is pointless, i asked why. Apples predicted to say bit coin is the way to go and if i have saved any cash or use anything other than crypto currencies, i will rot and die on a planet that no longer has worth. Orange envy here, i inform this mr. Apples guy that i get the idea of his life, hes got mega bucks, cars, businesses, etc. But how is he gonna survive on killowats if his ele tric cars go down? How will he build a sand castle with no sand? He argued about gold, silver, treasures galore and how i was in the wrong to pursue living in the " stone age" as he called me out. I am perplex3d, all kinds of money and gold, wealth and resources hes got and im wrong for feeling entitled to be cheap and petty? He argued that name brands in clothes are better worn for a society of rich folks, and walmarts trends die and fall apart. After almost an hour of hearing him grumble, complain, gloat and pridefully roast his thoughts, i responded as an agent of honesty..Dear sir, if your riches, gold, jewls, cars, etc is all taken from you, what would you do to survive?
His response? Buy more..but im good nonody will rob me!
Then he preceeded to ask me the same question in which sassy as I am, i said this: NEWS FLASH MR. APPLES! Whatever was given to you can be taken from you. It matters not a mole hill in a mountain what you own, sell, buy, steal, kill, drag, bag, or borrow. If somebody's had to get it in their mind they want it, they take it..laws of life. He replied to me, miss orange, you missed the point becoming poor is a choice, you never had anybody in your life to get you out of tge poor house..yeah ok so im destined to wonder what hes gonna do when his funds are frozen at tge bank, his solar pannels cease to work when the sun goes dark, and how hes gonna get a gallon of killowats because gasoline is in buckets..i wanna know, who here is an apple like him or an orange like me? 🤔
Apples got resources, oranges just keep surviving. In the 3nd, we should just bannd together, share life, love and the persuit of happiness..otherwise its apple pie and cool whip!
