Sorry you’re down, you know what you have to do though.

I know how you feel, food is so good and we get carried away enjoying it for comfort. Getting a diagnoses like yours will make you want to lose weight and get serious but dont be hard on yourself or be sad. Be persistant. Eat 2x a day put salads in your diet. Bubbas 33 got some good ones but it can get expensive or make your own. No fried foods, only baked, include veggies and fruits. Have at least 1 cheat day. I have 2 keep my weight down too, also walk alot.

Alter your diet. Remove, as much as possible, carbs and sugar. Take it seriously. It’s easy for men to lose weight, much more so than women.
At the same time, spend 30 minutes when you get up to exercise. Walk, get a treadmill, get an elliptical, find what works for you and DO NOT QUIT.
If you feel the urge to cheat, get off the sofa and walk a bit. You need to change your habits. If you’re good with a routine for at least three weeks, continuing will get a lot easier because the rewards will definitely become more apparent.
Go for it. Staying healthy beats dead any day. That’s the goal. Help your longevity goal before it’s too late.

Time to hit the gym and adjust your diet. That's the only real solution.

acquire some new clothes that fit you better to start then try to get back on track with diet and exercise
