what do you do if you've let yourself go a bit

as in you've put on weight and are a bit overweight now? and your clothes don't look great on you?

this is me unfortunately...years ago i got diabetes type 2 because i got very overweight due to an unhealthy lifestyle and eating all the wrong things, since that diagnosis i worked hard on myself and lost 4 stone in weight with diet and regular swimming and i reversed the diabetes......but since then ive put weight back on regrettably and i've let myself go a bit again and my clothes don't fit me that well now.

what can i do about it? i'm down in the dumps about it to be honest.

Alter your diet. Remove, as much as possible, carbs and sugar. Take it seriously. It’s easy for men to lose weight, much more so than women.

At the same time, spend 30 minutes when you get up to exercise. Walk, get a treadmill, get an elliptical, find what works for you and DO NOT QUIT.

If you feel the urge to cheat, get off the sofa and walk a bit. You need to change your habits. If you’re good with a routine for at least three weeks, continuing will get a lot easier because the rewards will definitely become more apparent.

Go for it. Staying healthy beats dead any day. That’s the goal. Help your longevity goal before it’s too late.
