If someone hasn't paid your friend rent in 3 months and then had a cardiac health scare, would you tell your friend to evict them sooner or give them

more time?

If they had health problems i would not add to their worries with an eviction.
@lissah so you’d just eat the 3 months they already haven’t paid you and let them dig your hole deeper?

@DrawntoaDistance yeah I would rather take a loss than kick somebody when they are already down. It's called having a heart.
@lissah lol ok

@DrawntoaDistance maybe it would depend on what kind of a tenant they were otherwise.

Reason I say that is because yeah the landlord could throw them out and get someone in who MIGHT bother paying rent but what if the next tenant were complete riff raff?
@HoeBag what would concern me more is the 3 months not paying before this most recent “cardiac health scare.”

@HoeBag I get the feeling the cardiac scare is real (a hospital kept them under supervision and this guy is fatttt). I'm more worried he's going to die while in my friends house

@plungesponge Well...

By fatttt, you mean he isn't a track star with a 29 inch waist?

But yeah, how does one handle such a situation?

I guess cardiac issue seems legit. Especially if he has to be under observation. Sounds like he should be in palliative care or something. I am not even kidding here.

I think it is time to have a difficult conversation with him. I mean if he croaks in your friend's house, he or she is going to have to deal with that guy's belongings, clean them out, etc...

Yeah he gotta go.
