That the host is tired and I’ve overstayed my welcome. 🥺

@bijouxbroussard my mum decided to continue watching the green mile a film we've watched a few times, despite me showering and changing into pajamas.
In the end I asked if she wanted me to pack her some food and started the shutting down process. Ie turning the TV off . The Xmas lights and closing the living room door. When she went to the toilet, I told my partner . It wasn't fair for me to go to bed and leave her watching TV until you got home to drive her back.

They've now been gone 30 mins when she lives 10mins by car.
@Mellowgirl When I was married and my husband and I used to have get-togethers, my friends and family would leave at a reasonable hour, but he had friends we’d find sleeping on the couch the next morning. 😳
