do you think it's important to 'look good'

i don't really bother with that, i dress in what i think looks okay but more importantly, what i feel comfortable in, not what necessarily 'looks good'. so i may not look good to others, should i care, you think?

Not especially. So long as what you are wearing is suitable for the task at hand. I like to look good though. However what I regard as good might not be so regarded by everyone, I like to wear short skirts and to go bare foot and while the first seems to be broadly acceptable now I get a bit of flack for the latter.
