how do you deal with this

[c=1F5E00]you're in a supermarket checkout, and there's another man standing right up near your personal space.....but you don't have the courage to say anything, as you have anxiety problems...and the checkout cashier intervenes and says to the man can you please move back, he hasn't finished paying for his stuff yet......this was my situation today, i never said anything and just continued packing my groceries.

what can i do now that i never spoke out for myself because of my nervous problem?[/c]

Happens to me now and then. Some people are just not aware they're doing that to others (especially when stickers on the floor spaced 6' feet apart are there to visibly remind them) and are being selfish. They could have covid and don't even know it. Here's how this woman humorously solved the problem.

But seriously, a solution could be to go to the end of the line again and hope the next person is more respectful. Or you can tell yourself to be calm, just long enough to get past the cashier which can build up your tolerance level.
