Don’t you love it when all these relatives suddenly want to be there for you and care so much

Only after someone related has died. I could have used some help and people who cared during the worst times of my life before this. Of course some of the worst times of my life were caused by them yet it’s funny how they don’t mention any of that now. Now that someone they care about has died now they all care though.

It’s annoying… but they say death is a wake up call. It’s a serious thing. We should be glad that some people do respond with curiosity and remorse … sometimes it hard to ask for help, and it may be even harder to accept help.
I hope you won’ t let pride get in the way if you need it now. If you don’t need help, it could be that you did not have faith in yourself or that you found the right help because here you are! Doing okay!!!! Let’s celebrate everyone’s improved awareness!!!
But yes, it’s kind of eerie that death affects others on a large scale. We should look for those who are the quietest. Listen carefully to their questions and concerns.

That wasnt my experience when my mom died. No one wanted to help and those who offered complained or were pretty useless. And after the funeral some even disappeared from our lives. My mom's death really showed me how shitty my family is.
