What's the most expensive car repair that you have ever needed?

Years ago, I had an old Ford Escort which had a misfire due to a broken valve spring. Total cost of the repair if I remember, was somewhere between $400-$450.

Whole engine rebuild on a Chevy trailblazer. $3200 and someone else totalled it a year later. 😔

Guys did a really great job on the rebuild. What a waste that someone else totalled it.
