Have you ever had the transmission go bad in a vehicle?

Mom had that happen to a 2007 Ford Escape, 7 years ago. Total cost to have it replaced was around $4,000.

I had it happen, it sucks. And you kinda have to fix it. Then you need to get 3 more years out of the car to make it worth it. 😣

@Mindful it was over $3,000' can't remember exactly. I also had to get it towed because I wasn't making it to the repair place.

@Mindful it sure was. Luckily I still have the car for years later with no other major stuff going wrong. So it balanced out a bit at least.
