Okay so lately, I have been observing posts here questioning if racism a major problem, or if it even exists...

Are you freakin' kidding me?

In all seriousness this has been a problem here from the beginning. I think there's more trolls/bots here as the election approaches.

The only thing I'll say about white people's attitudes to racism is (and I'm white myself):

If you think that racism doesn't exist, and non-white people have never had it so good, why then are you deathly afraid of becoming a minority in your own country?

Idiots.

@SW-User Exactly, and I am also white too.
The people asking have obviously never been its target, so if they’re oblivious (and often they’ve chosen to be), they’d have no firsthand knowledge about it. Then there are those who are racists themselves, and in denial.
Personally, I have no use for either.

@bijouxbroussard Isn't weird how so many people seem to lack even a basic sense of empathy?
That reminds me of Muslims pretending that Islamophobia doesn't exist 🤦‍♂ I know it's a different thing but it's really terrible that such people exist.. It's like hey let's pretend illnesses don't exist and they shall disappear on their own.

Well, that's exactly how some leaders decided to handle the ongoing pandemic.
@PiecingBabyFaceTogether Yes, there are also some people of color who take that tack, “it continues because we keep talking about it”.
Nothing, no ills disappear through silence. Silence is acceptance and complicity. We should all understand that by now. 🙁

@bijouxbroussard And the people who speak up are the ones who are mocked and ridiculed, right?
It's difficult to imagine being void of compassion and empathy for other's suffering.

I doubt most people see it happening. We tend to associate with people like us and can be quite blind in our bubbles. I think it’s absurd though for anyone who isn’t black to claim that racism doesn’t exist. If you’re white, how tf do you know?
Nah... I’’m not kidding you at all!
