People never cease to confuse the hell out of me...

So the seller says "I don't wanna fix it because of liability." 😳 Its like what now? You realize the house could burn like right now with the electrical issues it has right? 🤦‍♀️

I’d be walking for sure. How can they have a gas leak without having service shut off? And the same with the electric.

@Snowvixen I know building inspectors here are bound to report those kind of things to the utility companies. Rules do vary state to state however.
@SageWanderer We were surprised to learn the county its in doesn't require permits or something like that.

@Snowvixen Here you need permits, plans have to be approved and work done by a certified contractor.
@SageWanderer Its in rural Tennessee, apparently those rules do not apply.
