I wouldn't, but that's just me. I'd be concerned that anything I say could be used as evidence the car was sold faulty or something weird like that. Whenever I sell an old car, I make sure to put it in writing that it is being sold as-is, no warranty or refund to be expected or offered. Once it's out of my hands, I want nothing more to do with it.

I wouldn't. It sounds pretty suspicious to me. I don't know why he would be needing that connection with you. If he wants to know more about the vehicle, he can always look online, contact a garage or ask for information from a dealership.

Unless you actually had any valuable info for him, or you'd be potentially maybe be open to this being his awkward attempt to ask you out I wouldn't call back.

@Starcrossed Even with being well aware of that possibility on this site, I hadn't thought of that and was only concerned with some other potential scam, smh.

That’s a ploy of some kind. There’s lots of care care info available on the web.
wasityou · 46-50, F
@SW-User That's one of the thoughts I had.

No. He should call a mechanic. Did he buy the car from you directly?
wasityou · 46-50, F
@Mamapolo2016 I traded it in. He bought it at a dealership. It's all settled now.

i learned from something similar that the car I sold is now living and well in Rome!
Keepitsimple · 51-55, F
Is he hitting on you?
wasityou · 46-50, F
@Keepitsimple Not yet, lol. Only one seemingly legit voicemail currently.
Keepitsimple · 51-55, F
I was just wondering because you would think he would know a little more about cars than you, lol. @wasityou
wasityou · 46-50, F
@Keepitsimple So true!
