What is your opinion on the method chosen by president John Magufuli of Tanzania ...?

...in connection with fighting Covid-19.
According to what I read in the news he has encouraged people to go to church and mosque because prayer heals Covid-19. He also expelled WHO members from Tanzania.
Apparently he is a well educated man with degrees like a Masters and PhD so I can't help but wonder what he is up to.

I am a believer, we are not to just pray and miracles happen (although they can), we are advised to use our common sense as well. I also believe that exposure strengthens our immunity and that WHO is a globalist scam.

@curiosi And all of that would be fine, if we were only talking about you. But to the virus you are just another vector. A chance to spread to your parents, your children and your community. Believe and pray if it gives you comfort. But keep out of contact with others and wash thoroughly with soap every time you go outdoors so you dont become the devils tool.
You may be fine with going to a better place. But others might feel their work here is unfinished.

@curiosi That is quite interesting. Thanks for providing your honest opinion. I appreciate it. I'm not going to give my opinion here because I just want to see what others think about this.

It sounds to me like he doesn't like religious people very much....🤔

@4meAndyou Now there's a possibility I hadn't thought of.
🤔

Its politics. If he supports the church and the virus them kills millions its Gods fault. Imagine if every US Evangelist who said Prayer could cure Covid 19 were to be held accountable by the people. Well Tanzania has people like that too. And since the govt cant really control or treat its people, they might as well handball it to god.

I mean, people can still pray at home
Isn’t he the one that told everyone a Paw Paw fruit tested positive for Covid 19? Or am I thinking of a different guy
Wraithorn · 51-55, M
@TCB96 Same man. He says he took samples froma Paw Paw, a goat, engine oil and a bird, and they all tested positive.
@Wraithorn Thought it was him

They had smarter people during the dark ages
ArishMell · 70-79, M
@Jill1990 They did have clever people in the Dark Ages, but I wonder if this president is actually just as clever but using his intelligence and education for very dark motives, such as abrogating all responsibility as Whowasthatmaskedman suggests.

Proof that a PhD doesn't mean your right or doing the smart thing.
